Lander Vinyl



Lander Vinyl is the name Bucher has given to the plastic material he developed in 1967, a flexible, transparent and phosphorescent fabric that can be used in various ways and was not previously available. The works shown on this page are made of this Lander Vinyl.

Bucher uses it to record shadow-pictures (multiples consisting of four interchangeables blocks) and shadow portraits of Ed Kienholz) and to make inflatable and stuffed phosphorescent bodies (Landing Package, Landing “Los Angeles“)
